Many talk shows are called controversial...

Of those only a scant few have the type of host needed to properly expose the greed and corruption by public officials at all levels of government.

Lou Epton truly is in a class by himself; his dynamic style and unwavering obsession to shed light on issues most talk show host won't touch has earned him the respect, admiration, and loyalty of those listeners genuinely concerned about what is happening to our nation with numbers growing daily.

Lou Epton was born in Chicago Illinois on June 2nd. At age 5 he was enrolled in Wyler Military Academy in Evansville Wisconsin and at age 10 transferred back to public grammar school in Chicago. Not the best student, Lou was more interested in being the class clown, and here his talents began to show. He did variety shows in his neighborhood and at age 15 got a job as a character on a Chicago radio station WIND, as "Gremlin Gus". He followed this with his own teen-age show on WAIT.

After high school Lou entered the army and served with the 7th Division in Korea. Upon discharge, Lou went back to school at Drake University in Des Moines Iowa, where he worked part time in radio. Returning to Chicago he completed his education at Northwestern University.

Then he was into radio and television full time: from Gary Indiana to Longview Texas, to Shreveport Louisiana, to Des Moines Iowa, Rockford and Peoria Illinois, Hammond Indiana, and finally CBS in Chicago at WBBM.

Next it was off to Hollywood where he succeeded in becoming a character actor on numerous television shows, commercials and stage plays. After 16 years in the industry he went to Florida for a year, where he did a nightly television talk show, and this is where he began to see some of the fraud in Government.
Returning to California he desired to continue in television, exposing what he knew was wrong. Here he ran into a wall in the industry and finally decided to try Las Vegas. Lou started out buying time on a local station in 1976. After a season of this he ran short on funds, and was forced to give it up until 1991, when he got back into radio, and this is where he’s been ever since. And, as Lou puts it, "I finally found out what I’m supposed to be doing, and I wouldn’t change it for anything".

O
n the air in Las Vegas since 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and at AM1230 KLAV broadcasting each morning from 11am-12pm, Lou continues to be a voice in the wilderness.
